“We are so thankful for the Katy community that allows us to help those in need when crisis strikes,” says Deysi Crespo, Executive Director for KCM aka “Wonder Woman.” “We are raising funds to support our Crisis Center, who provides free, vital services towards the healing and recovery of survivors.”

“We appreciate our community, particularly our law enforcement heroes who make our city among one of the best places to live in America,” says Eddie Foster, aka “Thor”, a member of the Board of Directors of Katy Christian Ministries.
Katy Police Department’s Chief Bill Hastings will be starting our race, and has issued a challenge to the community, “Calling all Superheroes!” He has pledged to dress as a superhero if the community can raise $5,000 in additional funds prior to the event. Tax deductible donations towards this can be made at KCM.

“This will be an incredible opportunity for individuals in our community to be superheroes for a day by supporting a great cause” says Chief Hastings.
