Envisio Solutions comprises of a team of 11 staff. We are located 30 minutes south of beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in South Surrey.

Envisio (www.envisio.com) is an easy to use cloud-based strategy management and reporting software that helps organizations engage and align their team to their corporate strategy.

What type and size of companies do you have as clients?

Our customers are in the SME market and consist of non-profit and for-profit organizations from varied industry sector with 20 to 500 staff.

What comes to mind when you see this topic?

Busy CEOs need the ability to make informed decisions that help drive strategic success. In a nutshell, they want to spend more time working ON their business and less time working IN their business and that’s where Envisio comes in.

In most organizations the development of the Strategic Plan is management’s responsibility. The execution of the strategic plan is where most organizations struggle for the following reasons:

a) Ineffectiveness in communicating the strategy to their teams. Teams are disconnected from the corporate strategy when their daily activities are not aligned with their strategic plan.

b) Management of the strategic and operational plans is difficult and cumbersome with excel or word. Excel documents can take a life of their own if not carefully managed.

c) Reporting on the progress of their strategy is cumbersome, extremely time consuming and often not reflective of actual operating conditions.

What are the best practices when it comes to this issue?

Envisio solves these problems and more. Because Envisio helps with communicating, managing and reporting on the progress of corporate strategy, management teams (CEO, C-suite executive and board members) can use real-time information to make informed decision to achieve strategic success within their organization.

We’ve had success and challenges with selling Envisio to CEO’s and senior executives. Success happens when we sell to proactive leaders that understand the costs of failed execution. They understand that transparency and accountability drives performance.

Challenges happens when we sell to leaders who fear transparency and accountability within their organization and they fail to understand the costs of poorly executed strategic plans.
