Select Management Group represents top digital talent with massive audience reach on YouTube and across social media. Notable clients include Gigi Gorgeous, MyLifeAsEva, LaurDIY, Lauren Curtis, Tess Christine, and other top talent.
What makes you guys stand out as leaders in your industry?
We work with a select group of talent and focus on individuals who show consistent growth and engagement on their primary platforms while also demonstrating unique talent and ability for any medium.
What contributions have you made and are willing to take towards the world?
In partnership with our talent, we focus on several social causes including LGBTQ equality, female empowerment and the importance of education.
Who or what has influenced you?
We are both big fans of entertainment history and have read most, if not all, of Bill Carter’s behind-the-scenes accounts of the television industry. By understanding how traditional media works, we’re able to apply it to our own business when applicable.
What key qualities do you look for in your team?
Resourcefulness and proactivity. When you work in an ever-evolving industry, it’s important to identify employees who are hard-working and able to adapt to change. We find the most important quality of a team member is resourcefulness and the ability to make-do in any situation. Team members must also show initiative and be willing to roll-up their sleeves and get their hands dirty—no matter what the task at hand.
Words of advice for others growing their businesses like yours.
The best advice for anyone working in digital media is to maintain an awareness and understanding of the marketplace. Be willing and able to iterate your business model to evolve with the opportunities at-hand.
