Tell us about Eleanor Anukam Footwear:
Eleanor Anukam Footwear was created from a need to turn my pain into my story. I stand 5’10 and wear a size 12. Our company is an affordable luxury footwear brand that caters to women who have difficulty getting trendy footwear in hard to find sizes. We offer our footwear in sizes 9-13. We eliminated the middleman and sell exclusively online on our website. Our footwear is manufactured in the same factory as a lot of the luxury footwear in the marketplace that retail for double or more than ours.

We have a niche market that is untapped and there is a need globally for it.

Words of advice for others growing their business/for purpose organization?
Start small and don’t be afraid of setbacks because they will happen. My uncle once told me, “The path of any business is littered with land mines. The secret for succeeding in any business is to treat all disasters as incidents and none of the incidents as a disaster.” As Vince Lombardi once said, “The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.”
