About the interviewee 

Christopher Tompkins is the CEO of The Go! Agency, an online marketing specialist firm.
Alongside his duties as a busy business owner he is also the host of the popular podcast
“The Social Marketing Academy” and is asked to speak at conferences around the world.
He is currently working on his first book, which will be available soon.

Tell me about your firm (number of employees, location, type of companies you work
with, etc.).

Online marketing firm, 10 employees, Florida USA and London UK locations. Work with
B2B and B2C companies, but have a strong focus on healthcare related businesses.

Tell us your story about reaching C-Level executives to do business?

We market to C-Level executives on a daily basis. We generally like to use social media to
effectively target them in a different, more human way. We feed this into our marketing
and sales approach in order to create a seamless outreach circle.
Do you know of other examples of businesses being creative in this endeavor?
Yes….but mostly these are the companies that hire us to use social media to reach C-Level

What lessons, if any, do you derive from these stories?

Focus is absolutely paramount, as well as keeping track of who you are reaching out to.
