Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Precinct Proclamation Celebrates Another Business

Tomball, Texas (July 14, 2017) –  Members from the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce (GTACC) honor Defenders Martial Arts Academy in Tomball with a ribbon cutting ceremony and Proclamation provided by Precinct 4 Commissioner R. Jack Cagle (also a black belt in Martial Arts).

“We look forward to honoring area businesses in the Greater Tomball area by providing ribbon cutting ceremonies like this one.  It takes a community for businesses to succeed and we value what Defenders Martial Arts Academy (www.DefendersMAA.com) brings to our area by providing a 15,000 square foot campus to help train others in self-defense and develop Martial Artists,” said Bruce Hillegeist, President of the Chamber.

“Ribbon Cuttings and Business After Hours provide members with an opportunity to welcome fellow entrepreneurs to Tomball. Membership to the GTACC enables business owners to build relationships with each other and support our community through the various networking events provided,” says Dawn Stone, Member and Community Relations.

The ceremony and networking event was held Tuesday evening, July 11th at Defenders Martial Arts Academy located at 11715 Spring Cypress Road from 5pm to 7pm.

Guest were treated to refreshments, martial arts demonstrations, a tour of the facility and door prizes provided by radio personalities Kevin Price of The Price of Business, Doc Greene of The Amazing Doc Greene Radio Show, TransWorldNews.com press release distribution, social media package by Interenet Marketing Pros, Legal Gun Defense by SelfDefenseFund.com and Marketing support by Marketing Dynamics.

Emcee and member Patrick Morales of Cendera Funding was invited to break a board under the guidance of Taekwondo Master Instructor Lance McDonald, which was captured on video.

Businessman and martial artist Gordon Scheele and Taekwondo Master Instructor Lance McDonald (International Champion and 4th Degree Black Belt) have opened up a multi-use super dojo training facility for both kids and adults. The front of the location features a traditional style dojo enjoyed by many beginning their martial artist journey who will learn the basics and train at a level that is comfortable for their start-up or maintenance needs.
