Name and Official Title.

Bill John Tran, CEO and founder of Javascript for Entrepreneurs

Tell us about your business.

It began with two previous Kickstarters: although successful, he truly found a way to mold his two passions of teaching as well as learning when he created his third kickstarter, Javascript for Entrepreneurs: Learn How to Program.

By teaching users to code by developing projects, such as a website or mobile application, people are more aware of the entire aspect of coding. Entrepreneurs learn the most practical usage of computer programming for their businesses, rather than specific steps in a textbook that may not be as useful in their ventures.

What makes your company the leader in your industry?

The course is simply different: getting the full picture and learning everything necessary to build a SAS company, website, landing page, or various other applications is not something that can be easily and quickly  laid out in a textbook or other program. Bill’s program allows for immediate real world application for everything that is learned, and at the same time, it is flexible to any user: whether it is an entrepreneur simply curious about the coding behind his venture’s mobile applications, a beginner with very little coding experience, or just a student interested in web development.

What contributions are you willing  to take towards the world?

His passion for teaching, combined with his interests in computer science, made Javascript for Entrepreneurs the perfect match. At the same time, different business books on audible and specific podcasts have really inspired Bill to turn his passion and entrepreneurial spirit into a career.

What key qualities do you look for in your team?

Specifically in programming and in the computer science field, it is essential that employees know how to easily adapt to the situation and the changing environment of technology. Bill is also looking for members that know how to teamwork, and understand that working with software institutes a learning environment and that his employees are not afraid to receive criticism and continue striving for success.
