Bright minds gather in Montgomery, Texas to learn from the best in international private investigations
Montgomery, Texas (August 24, 2016) – The World Investigators Conference (www.2016WIC.com) by PI Magazine (www.PIMagazine.com) only happens every five years and this year it was held at La Torretta Resort in Montgomery, Texas from August 16th through August 20th.
“We wanted to be involved this year, given that this is our 5th anniversary in business and we were invited by the National Council Investigation and Security Services of which we are a member,” says Larry Keilberg, National Director for the National Association for a Legal Gun Defense (SelfDefenseFund.com) “We wanted to talk to Private Investigators and Security Agencies about our litigation membership and learn more about their needs.”
Private Security has advanced over the years with a focus on new technologies from marketing, case management, GPS tracking, camera surveillance to data search to aid investigations, specialty consultancy regarding homicide cases, legal defense to gadget detection, data forensic, legal updates, emerging technologies, and marketing and promotion with an eye on global reach.

Over 34 vendors and 500 investigators from all 50 states, Puerto Rico, Brazil and other countries attended to learn from leading thought leaders and special speakers famed lawyer F. Lee Bailey, New York Homicide Lieutenant Commander/Detective Veteran Vernon “Mr. Murder” Geberth, and deep cover mob FBI detective Joseph “Donnie Brasco” Piscone.
“This is by far the best show we have produced and it just keeps getting better, more informative and exciting,” said Jimmie Mesis of PI Magazine and the producer of the event. “My focus is to create a getaway, restful and fun experience for these overworked and professional investigators, while re-calibrating them with the latest advancements in their fields.”
