“You learn quickly that tissue has limits,” he explains. “If you push too hard, it fails. That changes how you operate forever.” This foundational lesson in structure and patience, built upon his earlier medical training at Duke University and advanced research at the University of London under a National Institutes of Health grant, would later become a guiding principle in his aesthetic surgery practice — particularly in his mastery of deep plane and SMAS facelift techniques. His exceptional focus on safety and technical ability, forged in that environment, continues to inform every procedure he performs.

“I saw early on that repetition builds judgment,” he says. “You start to recognise patterns you can’t see otherwise.” Over two decades, he has performed more than 3,000 facelifts, the majority utilising sophisticated deep-plane and minimal-scar endoscopic methods.
