Getting leads for your site can be a long and difficult process. You may feel as though nothing you do works and that even when you do get leads, you can’t always convert them. This can really go against you and you may even find that your marketing efforts suffer as a result. One way for you to get around this would be for you to do your market research so that you know exactly who you should be trying to cater your services to.

Your Website Design is Old

If you made your site years ago then there is a high chance that it is now out of date. The last thing that your customers want to see is a site that looks like it was constructed in 2008, using basic imagery and simple colour schemes. Keeping your site fresh and up to date is vital for search engine visibility and it is also vital for lead generation too. It’s never really acceptable for you to have a cookie-cutter site. Your customers will know and they will also think less of you for it. If you want to take things to that next level, then consider investing in a newsletter. There’s No Helpful Information on your Site

A blog is quite possibly the easiest and best way for you to publish any information that your potential customer might be looking for. It’s also possible for you to write white papers or even guides that any prospective customers can read in order to do their research. If you want to establish your authority with search engines, then your site needs to have a resource that people find somewhat interesting or helpful.

You Aren’t Blogging at All

A lot of companies don’t believe that they need a blog. They are under the assumption that they are getting way more publicity than they need as it is, and they also feel as though it’s just going to be another thing for them to promote. This is not the case at all, in fact, a blog can be a great way for you to solve a lot of the problems that come with SEO, such as keyword targeting.  

You Don’t have a CTA

You might know what step you want your customers to take next, but if they don’t, then this can cause your company issues. You need to list your call to action as clearly as possible and you also need to try and make sure that you guide your customers through your site.
