Killer Bedtime Habits

One bedtime habit could be killing you. According to a new study by the Brigham and Woman’s Hospital in Boston, staring at a blue light screen like those on a iPad or iPhone could be killing you.

The reason is that the blue screens mimic daytime and therefore keep you up.

Dr. Anne Marie-Chang of the BWH says that it’s better to read a printed book to help you fall asleep because it doesn’t affect your sleep as much as blue light does. Reduced sleep can also have major health consequences. She also suggests using some kind of filter to help filter out the blue light, such as f.lux for your computer or a screen protector for your phones.

Kevin(host) says he completely understands why this is detrimental and would try not to read before bedtime and Sigmund( producer) was just being Sigmund.
