INTERVIEW ON THE PRICE OF BUSINESS SHOW, MEDIA PARTNER OF THIS SITE.

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed Matthew Haller.

On a Recent Price of Business, Host Kevin Price visited with Matthew Haller, President & CEO of the International Franchise Association.Inflation is at a 40-year high of 8%. And amongst all the bad news of layoffs, supply chain issues, and rising gas prices, there is one sector experiencing explosive growth—franchising.  Representing 3% of GDP, 8.2 million jobs, and 775,000 outlets in the United States alone–including 50,000 locations in the tri-state area. Franchising is anticipated to create 17,000 new establishments in 2022 and 46,000 U.S. jobs a month.Franchising creates opportunities that would not be available otherwise – especially women, people of color, and veterans.  Oxford Economics finds that 39% of female franchise owners say they would not own a business without franchising – the equivalent of 60,000 businesses if franchising was not an option. And 26% of franchises are owned by people of color, compared with 17% of independent businesses generally. Black-owned franchises earn 2.2 times more than Black-owned independent businesses on average.More information about the International Franchise Association and the 2022 Expo can be found here.
